Dear SACS member and Kwaggahoek Dam visitor
Lockdown of the whole SA just announced by the President to take place from midnight 26 March to midnight 16 April 2020 in an effort to combat the spreading of the Corona Virus. Unneccessary movement of people are prohibited during this period as you will only be allowed to buy food and medical supplies or to visit the bank.
Only neccessary services like banks, grocers, production and transport and distribution of basic goods, medical, security services, Police and Military will be allowed to operate during the lockdown period.
This will unfortunately impact your reservations made at Kwaggahoek Dam for the lock down period as you will not be allowed to travel as you will be expected to stay at home. The owner of the farm in which Kwaggahiek is situated has also decided to lock down his farm in an effort to protect his employees.
SACS will now have to see how to accommodate our confirmed and paid visitors for thís period on later dates. If you prefer a refund for your booking made in thís lockdown period please provide me with your banking details or indicate to me if I can keep your amount already paid on our books for another reservation after thís period.
This is a difficult time for our guests and the people of our country in general and we appreciate your support.
